Vitigno:
Merlot 50% Cabernet sauvignon 50%

Affinamento:

12 mesi in piccole botti da 225 l
12 mesi minimi in bottiglia

Abbinamenti:

ENG | On a mountain above Brembilla, between the abandoned Sant'Antonio and the Forcella of Bura, there was a castle ruled by a queen. She was a tough woman and a brave warrior, in battle she always fought in front of her soldiers and she returned victorious to her castle every time. On her way back from war, as soon as she reached Gualguari (this place is now the town center of Brembilla) she would stop at the square and hang her enemies, betrayers and prisoners.
Once she had hanged them all, she would go back to her castle and no one would have the chance to see her again for a long time. […] The queen returned to the castle triumphant, carrying with her the spoils of war, the king’s crown and the golden calf. However, when she returned to her room, a furious storm raged, causing the mountain and the castle walls to tremble. Soon afterwards, the earth split open, a huge abyss swallowed up everything and everyone: the queen, the castle and the calf. The calf is still up there somewhere and to this day, anyone who tries to look for it, will find the abyss under their feet ready to swallow them up as soon as they get close. Once a year, at night, you can see the king and his soldiers on horseback running up and down the mountain cliff in despair.
